Sappland Microelectronics’ PESAW BAND71 Diplexer Released with Great Fanfare

As one of the core components filtering signals in the RF front-end module, filters and duplexers occupy the largest share of the RF front-end market, with market demand continuing to grow steadily.


On April 19th, Sappland Microelectronics made a significant release of its high-performance Band 71 duplexer based on PESAW technology. The duplexer comes in a package size of 1.8mm x 1.4mm, offering high-end customers a more flexible and diversified selection.It is expected that in the third quarter of 2024, a Band 71 duplexer with a package size of 1.6mm x 1.2mm will be launched.


The Band 71 duplexer released by Sappland Microelectronics this time boasts excellent in-band and out-of-band performance, with a typical Tx in-band insertion loss of only 1.0dB and a typical Rx in-band insertion loss of less than 1.4dB.


The typical isolation values ​​in the Tx frequency band and the Rx frequency band are 57dB and 56dB respectively, with a duplex Tx suppression of up to 60dB. The input power reaches 31dBm @ 5000h, 50°C. The overall performance indicators rival those of top international products.


Empirical Data

PESAW filters can meet the performance requirements of high Q value, low insertion loss, high isolation, and high power in applications, comparable to BAW filters in the same frequency range. After years of market testing, the quality of Sappland Microelectronics’ PESAW series filters and duplexers has been highly recognized by customers.


On April 18th, the latest data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) press conference revealed that in the first quarter of 2024, China’s mobile phone shipments, especially 5G phones, reached 56.43 million units, accounting for 83.7% of total mobile phone shipments during the same period. This reflects a significant demand for high-end or smart 5G phones.
